I have been struggling to find words to express my feelings as my eldest daughter/eldest child graduates from high school, turns 18, and enrolls in college. She is an amazing girl, and I have complete confidence in her, but I still feel just that twinge that all mamas feel at this stage~ of hope that I have done everything I could to prepare her for her future, worry that I could have done more...But looking at her sweet, radiant face, so full of joy and love with only the slightest hint of bewilderment (natural for this stage in life), I think we'll be all right.

...big wistful sigh...
I am having those same emotions and feelings myself today. I wrote a short (very short) blog post on it today...it was all I could muster up.
Beautiful girls, both yours and mine. So fun to see them grow up, and such a new place for us mamas to be.
Hang in there. ♥

What a treasure to have such a dress that has memories attached. Isn't interesting on a momma's heart to have our girls grow and stretch become a women before our eyes. Your daughter is so beautiful. Congratulations!!
The pictures are so sweet!
Momma's hearts have so many nostalgic moments and yearnings to hold forever the precious times. As the sunrises come and go, the events pass into the great history beyond but stay forever in the memory to be cherished tenderly. The passing sunrises also bring the fun and joy of new adventures with our darlings.
Enchanting dress with beautiful heirloom memories attached. Love it.
Have a happy Fairy Day this week.
